Puerto Rican in New York! Tonight, we have two fun events happening tonight with two of our great partners. You have the choice of watching Dj Dr. Don Jacobs :) mixing it up at the I’d Still be a Puerto Rican if Born on the Moon Curated by Elena Martínez.

Through the lens of expressive culture, our exhibit tells the story of the Puerto Rican diaspora to New York City during the 20th century and into the 21st. Nuyoricans may celebrate Three Kings’ Day differently and wear vejigante masks for the Puerto Rican Parade instead of Carnival, but they are still Puerto Rican—and would be–”even if born on the moon.”
